Power Multihulls

21' Power Cat

21' powercat in developed plywood.

Since this 21' power-cat was first designed some 15 years ago, this concept has become very popular. This style is universal now for a rowing team's chase boat. It was designed as a quick, economical run-about that creates very little wake. As noted in Mr. Harrington's note below, it does quite well in rough weather too.

Construction is the very rapid CM or developed plywood/epoxy. 6hp per side will be good for 10 to 14 knots depending on load.

The design is being updated with a more traditional run-about bridgedeck. Plans buyers will be able to get the new upgrade at no extra cost.
