In early September I got to sail on the new Adventure Cat 2.2. This 65' daycharter cat joins the venerable original Adventure Cat, (55' x 30') which began service in 1990.

I missed visiting with the owner, Jay Gardner as he was up in Seattle sailing, but I had a great sail with Hans and the crew. They reached out past Alcatraz, to Sausalito, over under the Golden Gate Bridge, and back to Pier 39. I was impressed with how rigid the boat was and how well she sailed. Hans and the crew are superb boat handlers. I got to see both boats sailing side by side near Sausalito the next day.
